2022 Fall Edition

At our May 2022 meeting, we presented to our recent graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio and Theta Gamma member, Hannah Herrick, the Madolyn Fallis Excellence Award. Judy Smith received the Rose of Honor and Crystal Zamarron received the Sword of Honor. Congratulations to our sisters! In June, the chapter released its official newsletter! It is to be released every June, September, December, and March.

Chapter member and VP of Ritual, Judy Smith, and our selected chapter delegate, Karen Palafox were at the 2022 SAI National Convention. At the convention, we received the 2022 Alumnae Chapter Achievement Award. Our former president and member of the San Antonio Alumnae chapter, Kelsee Wuebben, was selected to be our new Kappa A Province Officer! Congratulations to you, Kelsee! It was an amazing experience for all sisters, and we are looking forward to the next convention!

It is with a heavy heart to announce that our dear sister, Judy Smith passed away on Sept. 12. Collegiate sisters from Theta Omega and Theta Gamma chapters and alumnae sisters in the Kappa A province came together on the day of her memorial service to honor Judy’s life. It was a beautiful day for our wonderful sister. Condolences to her daughter Valerie Smith, patroness in our chapter and family during these times. She will forever be missed. So Near, So Dear.
